Find a Certified Au Pair

C.A.P’s main goal is to train and certify au pairs to provide reliable, live-in au pair childcare services. By completing the training course, our students benefit from a unique combination of expert theoretical training and practical sessions which are based on an accredited SETA Registered Unit Standard for child development. This means that any au pair who has undergone C.A.P training has the qualified knowledge and skills to competently offer professional au pair childcare – making them highly sought after.

Our database of au pairs have all successfully completed the C.A.P training course and this list is updated regularly as students are certified, allowing you to select from a wide range of skills, experience and backgrounds for your individual requirements.

Why choose a Certified Au Pair?

An au pair who has been certified by C.A.P gives families the added assurance of entrusting the care of their child or children to someone who has been formally trained in the following key areas of childcare:

  • First aid and child safety
  • Infant care and feeding
  • Child development (birth to teenage years)
  • Caring for special needs children
  • Health and nutrition for children
  • Caring for a sick child

Overview of Levels

C.A.P has created specific criteria that divides au pairs into different levels according to their qualifications, making it easier for families to find an au pair that meets their requirements.
